Caring for animals has been a constant throughout my life. I’ve worked with pets of every kind, including cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, birds, aquatics, bottle babies, and seniors with special needs. My own home is often filled with rescues who continue to shape my understanding of nonverbal communication, consistent patience, and the importance of meeting each animal exactly where they are.

For over 20 years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience through personal caregiving, regularly dogsitting for family members, and volunteering with the Humane Society of Pinellas. My approach is simple: move calmly, match energy, and respect body language. Every animal communicates differently, and I focus on creating an environment where they feel understood, safe, and genuinely cared for.

I provide in-home care because familiar surroundings help pets relax and maintain their natural routine. Whether I’m stopping in for a quick visit or staying overnight, I focus on what keeps your pet comfortable and content. This may include meals and medication, exercise and enrichment, or quiet companionship. I also stay attentive to changes in behavior or comfort so concerns can be addressed early.

At the end of the day, my goal is to provide pet care that feels personal, consistent, and trustworthy. Care that allows your pet to remain relaxed at home and allows you to travel or work with true peace of mind.
